Hey Twi-hards 💫 ! Like many of you, I have a little tradition every autumn: to have a Twilight marathon under a blanket with hot chocolate. And guess what? It might just be that we can relive the magic… but this time in theaters 😍.
🌙 A return awaited by fans
During the Fan Expo in Toronto, the cult cast of the saga (Ashley Greene, Peter Facinelli, Kellan Lutz, and Jackson Rathbone) came together to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the very first book of Twilight.
On stage, actor Peter Facinelli, aka Carlisle Cullen, dropped a little bomb while talking about the midnight premieres of the time:
“It was one of the last movies that brought people together like a real event… Fans would even camp out in front of theaters for days. It was amazing. I hope that for the 20th anniversary, we can do that again.”
Can you imagine? Seeing Edward, Bella, and the entire Cullen family on the big screen with packed theaters full of crazy fans… the atmosphere would just be magical ✨.
🔔 A teaser that has social media buzzing
On August 27, 2025, the official Twilight accounts posted a mysterious message on X (formerly Twitter):
“Tomorrow… ✨”
And as if that wasn’t enough, Letterboxd confirmed that the saga would return to theaters in October 2025. Let’s just say that the Twilight Renaissance continues in full swing, and I already know that fans (old and new) will be there.
💜 Twilight, still in our hearts
A few years ago, some people mocked the saga, but today, everyone admits it: Twilight is cult. These films are part of our teenage memories, and they are now reaching a new generation thanks to streaming platforms. A return to theaters would be the perfect opportunity to share this moment with our friends, our sisters, or even our children.
Personally, I will be the first in line to relive that unique atmosphere of the midnight screenings… and you?
